Shows what you know. _Anything_ goes with that outfit. :haha:I think this in poor taste...
That hat does not go with her outfit.
Yea, it's a word that most of us never heard until we were married. Let me explain. :bigeyes:Outfit????
Yes but she never has the RIGHT shoes/purse for the OUTFIT she needs to wear. :bleh: :bleh:Yea, it's a word that most of us never heard until we were married. Let me explain. :bigeyes:Outfit????
Apparently (and this is still confusing to me, even after 15 (16?) yrs of marriage), women will pick out articles of clothing to wear based on whether they "go together." When the do "go together", it's called an outfit.
For those of us who picks out articles of clothing based on the "what's on top of the pile" rule, this can be very confusing. It's best not to argue.
Very true, and astute, young padawan.Yes but she never has the RIGHT shoes/purse for the OUTFIT she needs to wear. :bleh: :bleh:
That is the easyest.... Once she has worn it !The old "outfit" then becomes something that one wouldn't be caught dead in. It happens very quickly, so the slow learners/observers amoung us sometimes miss the warning signs.
Woodstock's explaination is spot on. It is gender-specific... if a women says she likes your "outfit"... don't walk... RUN to the closet and change something because you've inadvertantly co-ordinated your clothes enough for it to be considered an "outfit". Also, it could be that one of your articles of clothing would be something a gay... excuse me, rump ranger would wear. B)Apparently (and this is still confusing to me, even after 15 (16?) yrs of marriage), women will pick out articles of clothing to wear based on whether they "go together." When they do "go together", it's called an outfit. Naive men will assume it has to do with "same color", when they try and understand this "go together" concept. That's a common mistake that your newly married types will make. Current research indicates that "same color" does have something to do with it, but apparently it's a lot more involved than that.
