Here's one I can't figure out:

Today, I picked up the newer model (901, I believe) of Sigma Cyclometer, to use on the FJR, and put the BC1200 on the KLR.

They both have the same mount, and use the exact same wire setup, which I had to splice in some extra to reach, just like before.

I'm using "rare earth" magnets form Rad Shack on both bikes, and both units work just fine. Basically, it's the same install on both bikes.

Here's what I don't get: after inputting the exact same number for the FJR wheel size into the new unit, it read super fast, and I had to increase the wheel size by about 600 millimeters or so to get it to line up with the GPS's MPH.

The BC1200 had to be increased by a similar amount, due to the increased size of the KLR front wheel, which was expected.

Any guesses?

Shane
