Just a few of,(Dumb?), questions.
Got my new, to me, 2004 fjr today.
Got 2 black keys and 1 red one. Whats with the red one? Valet key?
Any idea where i can source an original owners manual, not a pdf file, the one that would have com with the bike.
2004 10 month build with ABS, which Gen is that considered to be here in Aussie land?
Thanking you all.
Keep it shiny side up and rubber side down!

Red key is used to program new chip keys for the immobilizer present on all bikes except those sold in the USA. Put it away somewhere safe but you probably won't need it. (It is still functional)

Service Manuals
(Note: ABS is different from non-ABS)

You may find one cheaper on ebay or from an Aussie forum member...

Owners manual can be downloaded free from Yamaha.
