Regulator on First Gen FJR

Before I take the whole bike apart, can any of you guys tell me where the regulator is?

(I disassembled a whole bike two years ago but I'll be damned if I remember where the regulator was at... )

on the frame, on the left side of the steering head assembly. if you remove the lower left inner panel you'll see it near the radiator cap. it's that thing with the cooling fins in the photo below.

It's mounted to the left side frame, almost directly below the emergency flasher button. Using a flashlight you can look up through the top opening of the left side faring and see it right next to the radiator cap.

After 2 years I still can't get used to how awesome this Forum is!

Got my answer in 3 to 5 minutes! Bounce and Ionbeam, you guys rock!

(Now back to the garage, I've got to put the swingarm back on :blink: --- now I know the regulator won't be hiding in there.... )
