Nice work Silver Streak. Have you given any thought to replacing those poorly positioned mirrors with FZ1 mirrors? I have replaced the stock mirrors on two of my FJR's and I can assure you, rear vision is vastly improved! I had forgotten how poor the OEM's are until I recently rode my 2014ES from the dealer to my home. The first mod was FZ1's. Another farkle you should consider is making a screen guard for the radiator. You can spend about $100 and buy one or you can spend under $20 and make your own. I bought a round steel mesh waste basket at Office Depot and cut out a piece the same size as the fin surface of the radiator. Shape it to the contour of the radiator face and simply place it behind the plastic grill. It will stay in place as it rests on the tabs on the bottom of the guard. You can also clamp it to the guard and use a good cement or epoxy to secure the edges to the guard. Don't forget to get a fender extender on that front fender. You surely do not want any road dirt getting on the lower center panel!!!
