I have an 03 with 48K miles on the clock. In the last few months I've noticed the rear brake pedal seems to be a liitle sticky and sometimes it doesn't return all the way by itself. It doesn't seem to be dragging the brake but it does keep the brake light on. I reach under it and I can pull it up with my foot, and then the light goes out. I looked in my facotry service manual and it says the brake pedal should be greased, but it doesn't give any directions how to do it. I pulled the foot peg assembly and brake pedal off and don't see how to get the shaft out, there isn't any type of retaining clip holding it in place. I inspected the return spring and it looks good. I would appreciate any help or insight anybody can provide. Has anybody had a similar problem, how did you solve it? Does anybody know how to get the brake pedal shaft out? Does anybody know how to grease the shaft? Thanks, jgroenke
