Hi folks - Dave here in Boston, MA, on his 2009. I'll add a pic at some point, but I bet you all know what a FJR looks like. I've been a quiet, lurking member of this forum since... it's been a while - 2005, maybe? I bought a 2004 when they first were released in the US.
I 'made' an FJR by adding Givi bags, a better seat, and a bigger windshield to my ABS-equipped '92 FJ1200, and when the FJR came out I thought of suing Yamaha for stealing my idea.
I re-upped in 2011 by buying a new, leftover 2009 in Cullman, Alabama and riding it home - that's been my longest ride to-date.
Am I the craziest on this site - riding daily in Boston traffic?
