Special thanks are due to the organizers who pulled off this excellent event. Lots of work and a great location!

Also great to meet new folks and see old friends. Had such a great time touring around the area the last two days and chatting with everyone.

So cool to meet folks from back home (Eastern Canada), too. :)

...anyone know why MEM was pimpin' the Vegimite so hard tonight at the banquet...? ;)

Safe travels everyone!

Ya gotta thank Surly for the Vegamite. I can't believe a whole continent eats that stuff. Bleaahhhh. :angry2:

Oh, and thanks for a great weekend. Everyone ride safe home.

MEM knew the effort and all the special permits Surly had to get to bring a toxic substance into Canada...

I tried the VegaPuke..

Thank gawd no one had a camera on my face when I tried it.
I'm sorry I didn't get a photo of Kevin's (NSRider) wife trying to scrape the Vegemite off her tongue with a butter knife. It was that or she was attempting emergency surgery to disconnect her taste buds in her tongue from her brain.

I thought my Vegemite sandwich looked pretty appealing...

though it would have worked better had we had some at the Owosso Tech Day when I was looking for grease for the steering stem.

Also while MEM was distracting everyone with the Vegemite, Old Man Niehart was stealing the mini pies by the tray full...

I cannot really express my thanks for all the hard work the organizing crew did to make this happen. It was really great and topped my first long ride in over a year.

THANKS

Longrider

I'd like to add my thanks to all those who organized and attended NAFO.

It was interesting putting faces to 'handles'.

This was a 'first' for me and, just like other 'firsts' in life, I look forward to the next.

The Vegemite was a real treat - on a buttered bun. I tried to explain that you don't eat it with a spoon! :sicksmiley: - thanks MEM.

I'm still in Castlegar 'til Tuesday. So if anybody forgot stuff, I can pick it up for you (sorry, that doesn't apply to unpaid bills).

Al.

Another fun event, thanks to Jeff and the organizers! [No Vegemite for this hombre.]

Great to see all the familiar faces and meet some new friends. :)

Thanks to FW Eddie for some great beer, Ahchui for Autocom technical consultation and Niehart for the "cover your seat, the rain is here" warning. We had an enjoyable evening dining with the Uberkuhls and visiting with MadMike, RogDebs, Mr. & Mrs. Fastjoyride and not to mention Dr.Rich who told me some serious dirt on Old Michael! Thanks Jeff!

Great to see old friends and meet some new ones.

Jeff and crew, excellent job!! The food was good, the location splendid!

I tried the Vegemite as well and have to say that is the worst sh@#t I have ever tasted. Thanks for that MEM much appreciated. Totally cool event - and many thanks to our friends to the North - you guys and gals rock!!!!

Hope to see you all again soon.

1.) T'was fun.

2.) Expected no less.

3.) The Canadian FJR people "get it": the people. the place, the people, the roads, the people. Being able to talk, visit and ride with other owners...Priceless!

4.) Canadians, as a nation, are some of the most polite and sincere citizens I've ever met.

You done good!

Then there's Barb but that's an entire book there is no use to open.......

This man left the room post haste, returned minutes later, looking worse shade of green than before!

+1, Gunny on this being the very best FJR Forum Event I've ever attended; Beauty, eh!

Canuckistanis welcomed us with open arms, FastJoyRide gave Papa Chuy a "warm" hug!

The hotel was great, incredible riding roads, fun hot springs day and a ton of laughs also.
