Love mine! The bottom of my stock side stand pad was not completely flat. I almost lost my BigFoot on the first trip after installing it because it rocked and worked the screws loose. I re-installed it with JB Weld added in between the bottom of the side stand and the BigFoot. No problems since!

I know it's been said in the 33 pages of this thread before, but bears repeating--good idea to Loctite the screws (blue is fine, but red too, since you won't ever want to take it off). The cure for a rocking Bigfoot is a very few seconds with an angle grinder if you have one--or your buddy does. At least 100,000 miles on the two I've had on two FJRs (transferred the first one to the second bike before I sold it). Kudos to the Bigfoot!

I don't remember which color of loctite I used, probably blue, but it didn't work!? I was amazed to find my BigFoot dangling from the side stand after a coupe of thousand miles. Didn't have access to a grinder so I went for the layer of JB Weld to fill the gaps.

Like the belt and suspenders guy, what's wrong with grinding, loctite AND JB Weld?

Anyway, if you don't have a grinder, just put the kickstand down as you ride down the road for a couple miles. Nice and flat.
