Color matched plastic pieces on windshield......

Sorry, new to this bike.... But, the color painted pieces on the windshield, should they be loose?? The socket head screws holding them on (bottom side of assembly) is tight, I've already checked.

Please put my mind at ease.......

Yes there is a little bit of play in them that I noticed on my 2014 ES.

yes a little. the windshield has a notch for top of the color match piece and as you know the bottom is attached by the screw.

Yeah, they have some play in them but they won't come loose.

If it bothers you make some "gaskets" to fit underneath out of old inner tube.

I used some narrow dense foam tape to get rid of the rattle. I could hear the buggers when I rode over rough pavement.
