Here is some GoPro footage of my recent Deals Gap trip from last weekend. It's not the fastest, but I was having fun. I rode it the next day on my way home about 6am, and I didn't see another vehicle.

Nice pace and line. You don't have to go super fast to have fun on that road. You were fortunate to have only the one slow down.

My go to place to ride. I have been down that rode alot and think you clipped along at very good pace for a FJR.
The lighter bikes do a bit better but that was quick!

Was at Deals Gap yesterday and saw a pack of Z06 Corvettes leaving the store heading up the road to make a run across the Dragon. Watching a 650 HP Corvette launch is quite startling to say the least. Those freakin cars can absolutely launch very hard and fast! Crazy fast!
