2016- your best photo

What was your favorite/best photo from your travels last year? This was from a ride to the Grand Canyon & an 8 mile walk along the rim.

Whew .. didn't see the leash at first. That's a cool pic.

My favorite photo of 2016 was not specifically FJR related, but I did ride from home in Panama City to the location in Orlando, and the bike was in the garage at the time I shot this. This is the lake behind my girlfriend's house, a stitch 4 frames across, in early morning light. There are white ibises on the shore in the right foreground, geese in the water, a pair of ducks further out, some gulls in the sky, and to the left, in that first short tree, an anhinga drying its wings.

I had a 12x36 metal print made of this for her for Christmas, and it's (to use a very over-used adjective which I actually hate) stunning to look at.

Riding in and out of the Columbia River Gorge good scooting.

Salt River Canyon

May not be the best photo, but a favorite place to ride.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I do like this one:

One of the local canyons. About ten days after I took this the whole area went up in smoke in a widfire.

Here's me on my GTS1000 from the Dragon.

On Sunday, I saw my first GTS1000 at the Barber museum. That was one cool looking bike, man.
