I finally got around to installing the Denali DLRs on my '16 ES. From the factory, they recommend installing them to run low intensity with the low beams and high intensity with the high beams. Or full time low or full time high. I wanted the option to switch between them at will. I found a weatherproof Denali switch that were for driving lights that had a female connector on the end. I didn't want to cut up the switch harness, so, with Brodie's help, I found the male connector on Eastern Beaver. Figured out the wiring on the bench, then installed the lights and switch on sunday. Fairly happy with them to help wage the battle of the daily commute into the city.

Nice. I found a notable difference in how traffic responds to me after installing my Clearwater’s. A bigger light profile makes a difference.

Those look Great FJR Flyer!

Would you mind showing a side profile of how they mounted up?

Did they come with the correct hardware to replace the fender mount bolt?

Neerbeer, I won't be home until late Saturday. I'll take a pic on Sunday and post.

They come with a couple sets of different length bolts and two sets of different length standoffs. I used the shorter standoffs.

I have 2016 FJR as well. Bought the Denali DM 2.0 and Denali fender bolt mount. Unfortunately, I have no clue how to wire them. So been sitting in the box unopened for over a month now :( .

I just want it simple and have them come on when I start the bike. Any chance you can help?

Not sure how the DMs are configured. For normal installation, the DLRs come with positaps to tap into the low and high beam feed wires, so any time the headlights are powered the lights come on.

I have the Denali DM lights as well and they are very easy to install. You should have instructions in the box. I used the blue tail light wire which is a switched line. That line is on the left side behind the side cover.

Tail light? So did you have to wire them under the tank then? I want to mount then at the front wheel fender bolt. Was going to look for wiring to hook to at the front of the bike not tail.

Thank you!

That is a very clean and easy installation.

I like them.

What is the groups thought on white vs amber color for these?
