being about 90% harleys in this town, it's kind of rare to see other bikes. most are sporties in various levels of dis-repair, and the odd wing...
so i'm sitting at a light on the west side of town, and out of the traffic shoots....
a brand new 2012 FJR... all nice and shiny.
man... i wish i was that lucky. but i'll keep my 09...

How do you know it wasn't an 06?

Most people mistake it for a BMW. It takes a discriminating rider to recognize a 2006/2012 FJR. 
Makes me glad to ride the much imitated, but never duplicated 2005 Galaxy Blue.

well, i can't be totally sure it wasn't an 06, but i know we don't have too many FJR running around here, and the Yam dealer had a 12 on the floor as of about 3 weeks ago. sure looked nice and shiny and new.
and since it passed right in front of me at a stop light, i got a decent look...
