La Queva is on NM 4 just as you turn to go to Fenton Lake. there's a little store, a real estate office and a tavern.WlaMart it is. 1030 is much better! I donno where La Queva in Jemez is, but I guess I'll find out.

Oh...Never eaten there before. Usually eat in Jemez on the Los Ojos patio. The little cafe across the street has icecream.

Those of us of scandinavian descent have trouble with the spicy foods... but maybe I'll get the chile just to keep you guys off my ass... wouldn't want to give you too much satisfaction

I think you're right, but as long as I keep paying my taxes, they leave me alone.

if you go to that site, and look up Jemez Springs under roll call, you'll find Saturday's destination...

Go one state over in any direction and ask for green chile and they look at you like you're a crazy person. They all have jalepenos...Dipshits.
See you boys on Saturday.

there were 9 of us on 7 bikes. 2 cruisers, 3 FJR, and 2 sporties.
the restaurant we were SUPPOSED to go to was closed (probably for the season. we'll try again) so we came back down and had lunch at Los Ojos.
coming down the hill (at 60-65 in the twisties. GAWD i love this bike) i was getting LEFT BEHIND!!! HRZ and NMRR are some BADDAZZ riders. i still can't believe Eddie was throwing that Vulcan Venture around like that...
i am really looking forward to doing that again...
thanks again for a great trip.
Paul.
