so where is everyone staying in Fortuna?

R

OK, we have a list of three hotels, but where is everyone staying. I want in on this one too!

Oh, the days to reserve is Sun Night & Monday Night if staying both days???
I'll be at the Fortuna Super 8 since that's the one that I worked a discounted rate with for our group.

And yes, book Sun/Mon if staying both days. If not, don't.

Clear as mud? :D

Crap! Posted first note on wrong page..

Wheaton, I will putt the 15 miles down the road to hoist a flat assed ale with you folks1 Always love a chance to hug Tylerbabe and burn one with the Diceman. I may even call in puny and take the monday ride with you folks, do keep in mind, it can snow in these northern mountains in May/June.

I'll be here waiting for the beer. :clapping:

As far as the snow goes, when I'm out in Kali...I'm goin' ridin!

I hope it will be 70 degrees and sunny but if it's not, I'll dress for it. I didn't come this far to to sit behind a bar stool...or did I? :D

Mark, the weather is here, wish you were beautiful.....

This part of the north coast is ALWAYS cold, highs in the 70's in the heat of summer, once you get inland, in the summer it warms up quite hot, however, in May, you should find it in the low to mid 60's.

Hoisting beer at the brewery is not possible, they only brew ale, being a lagerphile, flat assed ales draw a vacume, They do a great steak at the Eel River Brewing, and if your interested in seafood, you would be hard pressed to find anyplace in Calif that has fresher seafood. we are blessed!

Lets Ride!

That ale should do just fine!

No more cmon's though, wishing I was beautiful.

:p

edit: is it foggy along the coast in May?

Its always foggy.... and cold, but I like it, Should be fair weather inland, brisk in the mornings on the coast, very comfortable weather in riding gear. We do get alot of clear sunny days, but fog is a way of life. The Redwoods seem to like the fog. And if you have never stood next to a redwood, do take the Avenue of the Giants from Redcrest north back to 101, scenic bypass. I really should ride south and join you for some escorted local ride views, maybe meet you in Garberville. Ganga capital of the Emerald Triangle..

"The beer is too cold, the daquiri too fruitful, no place like home when your this far away"

(Jimmy Buffet} goes with the weather is here verse.......

Hey Tylerbabe, can you call me, too. I wanna make sure we hook up. :D
Ok Mark, so you could call me if Tyler is not making the trip? I am now all confused. Maybe I'll just lie in wait on 101, just as I did in '75, waiting all damn day for Patty Hearst and crew.... ya, lying in wait... oh ya, that is a real story...

Terrific Tyler, Papa Chuy Viejo will be "In Like Flynn!" for all of the organized festivities starting on Thursday afternoon 5/19 when "El Burrito Ballerina" arrives in Paso Robles until Monday morning 5/23 when Senor Medina rides his Harley-Davidson out of Fortuna, CA back towards The Valley of the Blast Furnace! Muchas Gracias!
