I wonder who's gonna be the first to put out an aftermarket exhaust for these things... wouldn't 6 individual pipes look great? Could you imagine what they'd sound like?

I hear you loud and clear, Brother Gary! If someone comes up with classic Honda CBX look, my checkbook and I are all over it. In the meantime, I am going with Remus.

I saw your thread when you test rode that bad boy; just saw this one. Congratulations! Holy cow that's a nice piece of machinery. I'm guessing the FJR is gonna get as much attention as an ex-girlfriend. BTW, I hate you.

JB, I love you too; not as much as Old Michael, but pretty damn close! I do love Gisele, she's a German Sweetheart; however, I've never stopped loving Miss Lucy Liu!

Most likely it would suspiciously sound like aftermarket pipes available for a Valkyrie. The sixes have a similar sound.

Congrats on the new ride Don. I got to sit on one at A&S and they are surprisingly compact. Can't say it comes as a surprise to see you pick up this lady.

The written test at Motorcycle.com is a lot more informative (and has even more praise for the BMW) but Kawasaki hasn't done the C14 any favors with their choice for OEM tires (BT021). About 99 percent of the owners on the C14 forums feel the OEM tires are total crap and agree that new PR2s will transform the C14's handling and ride. The testers have to ride the bikes with the tires they come with but the bikes they ride don't handle and ride nearly as well as most of the C14s that are on the road.

Muchas Gracias, Jorge! I do really have to watch the speed on Fraulein Gisele versus Miss Lucy Liu. With the fairing/windshield combo on Gisele versus Lucy, I really find myself shocked at the speed I am rolling along as shown on the GPS; thinking with the K1600GT that I am going at the same speeds as the FJR.

Thank You, Tom! I do have to admit that I am going through my "Second Childhood" with Fraulein Gisele, she really turns me on!

43 years of continuous BMW Ownership next March and this six cylinder is just so cool! I'm a total Beemer junkie and proud of it!

Oh Man, just you listen to the sound of a K1600GT with the Remus Hexacone cans mounted. Gave your Papa Chuy Viejo a gargantuan, blue-veined, "cat-can't-scratch-it", diamond cutter Woodie!
