Bike was in an accident in NC and owner was from FL. NC salvage shop did not want to go to FL to get clean title so they rebuilt it on a 2003 frame. Hence the 2006 on a 2003 frame with a salvage title. I got the bike from the NC salvage shop and have put over 50,000 miles on it since...

Thanks everyone for posting up about riding in hot weather. Living in Charleston, SC above 93 is pretty much all summer long. Great article Bounce. Other than riding with a camel back it looks like my gear selection was a little off. Well at least I was not riding in shorts and flip flops!!!
From looking at the pics it seems like the KLIM jackets are very popular. Are they worth the big $$$? I saw a lot of long sleeve shirts and jackets in the start and stage 1 Albuquerque pics and would be curious if they rode in the heat with all of that on. Short of the on board AC unit what...
OK my wife just walked into my home office looked at my monitors with the FJR forum, ADV forum, spotwalla, weather channel, Mapquest with a route from WY to ABQ, and austinmedia.net with the bonus points and rubber band map and called me a rally geek!!! I feel complete!
Women's world cup soccer! Not me I'm watching spotwalla tonight!!! This is going to get interesting. Almost 10 am in the east and there are still a handful of riders west of the Mississippi!!! Also looks like rider 152 is Cherry Picking all of the DC spots right now. 4th of July weekend...
Woohoo SpotWalla shows rider 169 as the first rider in South Carolina. They are still a long way from Charleston. CHPI Charles Pinckney Plantation one of the bonus stops is a few miles from my house in Mt. Pleasant, SC with a second stop FOSU Fort Sumter across town. Should be interesting to...
Pulled off the tupperware unplugged the plug from the left handlebar sprayed in some QD elctronic cleaner, plugged the plug back in a few times, turned the key on and low and behold I now have turn signals! I think I am going to go on a plug cleaning binge. Bike is garage kept put a daily rider...
thanks Fred. Been busy with work so It may be this weekend before I can dig into it some more. Crazy winter weather here in SC has keep the bike in the garage for the last few days anyway!
OK so does that completely rule out flasher relay since the hazards work? So do I need to look at the switch on the handlebar next? If so is there a way to test the switch?
Headed off to work today and noticed that my turn signals were not working. No flashing of the lights or arrow on the instrument panel. Got home and swapped the fuse with the spare, sprayed electric parts cleaner in the fuse holder and it is still not working. No noise or anything. checked...
Kamal,
Thanks for the reply. The Vetter case is not as heavy as you would think but it is big so the temptation to load it up is there. I had seen Garauld's racks but not his 357 Mod. That mod to the 357 looks like the cats meow!!!. I am currently running a home made PCA type aluminum plate...
