And I think hd Steve had no penalties on leg two, he would have finished 2nd overall. Nonetheless, a great effort by all——I could never come close to what any of these riders did.

Lost an eye three years ago this month.
Rides probably 75000-80000 miles a year on Road Glides. Very neat guy, and as laid back as they come.
7th after leg one, I, like many, are hoping for a top 5 for him.

I may very well be wrong, but I think the flags are there. Appears to be two or three couples, where there is one flag for the pair. But perhaps I am missing something at this early hour.

Sorry to read this--even though it has been down almost a year. Guess I am lucky I got to see it in Spartanburg at the start of the IBR 2009.
What has/or is going to replace it?

Alan Barbic's travails is just further demonstration that this is a mental challenge as much as a physical one. Alan was picked by many as a top-ten finisher.
