    2014 Appalachian Campout

I sure have, especially the one about good ol' Danny Taylor, our constable buddy. It really came down to the 650 miles riding solo each way. Things would have not turned out so well if I had been riding by myself when I went down. That is still her biggest fear is an accident by myself in the...

    2014 Appalachian Campout

I hate to do this as my last trip to BRMC with this group still ranks as my favorite, but it looks like I’m going to have to miss out. I can only squeeze in one trip this spring and have the opportunity to go with some folks down to Eureka Springs, AR a week or so earlier. It’s quite a bit...

    Pennsyltucky-Run (Mem Day Wknd) Scouting/RR

Color me jealous! I lived a little west of that route in Clarion, PA and always thought it was beautiful. there. I went on a couple 'hunting trips' in Elk State Forest. Had a blast, although you had to watch out for the mountain girls around there. If they got ahold of you it would be a lot like...

    MRA X-creen Tour

I ride with a buddy who has the clamp-on version on his busa. He loves it and says it has been fine at speeds well into triple digits.

Forgot to ask - Do you have his-and-hers FJRs now or just a spare?

    SS1K 4/6/14

Wow, that right there is something else. I've done a couple of solo fly-n-rides at half that distance and worried myself to death over details and whether there would be any problem with the bike, tires, etc. Could not imagine doing an SS1000, 2up along the way! Congrats!

    How tall can they go?

Not sure how tall, but credit a Civil/Structural Engineer for those feats, not mechanical.

    Nice Beemer You Got

Nope, most cruisers mistake my black 08 for a BMW as well. Never offended, though, because I'd do the same thing with their bike. Can't tell one model cruiser from another

Whats your favorite Sitcom of all time?

Seinfeld, hands down. Best cast and best storylines ever. I don't think I can go a week without making a Seinfeld reference or quote. Benny Hill was on reruns when I was a teenager. I told my parents it was hilarious, but I really just watched to see the occasional flash of a boob!

    Rainy weekend maintenance

I'm sure you'll get different responses on coolant replacement but I do mine every two years. I pull the drain plug and empty the resevoir and refill. Burp and refill a few times and good to go. I don't do the whole blowing out and flushing routine mentioned on the forum. Seems like overkill...

There's a pretty good chance that you'll retract this statement before the weekend's over but, WTH, we'll keep our fingers crossed!

    2014 Appalachian Campout

Move me off the fence and onto the for sure list! Made my reservation today for cabin #4 - a nice little abode backing up to the trout stream. Let the finger pointing and name calling begin, but I'm stoked as hell for this get-together!
