RedRiderMN, you said you moved your handlebars to a more forward position. Does that mean you moved them away from you or towards you? Did you use a handlebar lift kit? If so, can you share which one? And did you install it yourself?
I've struggled with my arms going numb for a few years now. I...
Thanks for the information. I'm away from home right now but I'll look at it, check the spring setting and damping. Can you tell me if the bearings and linkage can be checked without disassembling it? Thanks.
I don't know what's wrong with it but the back of my bike has very little support from the shock and it bottoms out easily. I didn't think the OEM version was rebuild-able
I've got a 2013 FJR with 53000 miles that I bought used about 6 years ago. I've wanted to make some changes to my suspension because my ride is not great. I checked my rear shock and it needs replacing. I've looked online and it doesn't look like Yamaha has a stock replacement anymore, not that...
Thanks for the tip about contacting Darryl at Cyclops. He is out of town right now but I got a note back from Brian.

So exactly 2 weeks and my new Shoei Neotec 2 Excursion TC-3 helmet showed up in perfect shape. I had checked out the sizes at my local shop and I'm glad I did. I saved $150 and my new helmet fits great.
Bill, thanks for the information on Chromeburner.
Ordered my Neotech 2 high viz from Chromeburner today. I went down to our local shop and tried them on so I could see just what size fit well. Saved $144 dollars. Bill / Adam; how long did yours take to arrive after ordering?
I emailed Nelson Rigg about the size of the cover in the compression bag. They replied the next day with; 7" in diameter bag, 10" long and weighs 4 lbs. That seems a little large for taking while touring. Anybody use something that packs smaller that they like?
How about locks that get sticky or bind up? After riding in the rain for a few hours, the locks on my bags were very difficult to turn. What's the recommended lubrication for the locks?
