She had ridden cruisers, we were moving along at 45 but the lean scared the crap out of her; along with the cars flying by us we were in a 55 zone. I wanted to pull over after the first shimmy but we were on a bridge slowed down the best I could but I was surrounded by cages it was not fun.

Congrats, tell your Airman son that he is appreciated by this AF First Sergeant for all that he does. And realize that the Air Force will only let him ride a 600cc bike for his first year so it will be a while until he can graduate to the Feej.

Well its official I have one last ride planned in Fairbanks, from my garage to my trailer (pics and full ride report to follow). Movers are here packing my house asking me time and time again if I am sure I dont want them to pack my bike. So come mid-Feb I willl have to get with the ADMIN to see...

I saw that there is a new webmaster for the Rally, is there going to be online registration? Or do we just need to make our reservations with the hotel? I will need to check the leave status when I move to my new job in February, but I think it should be a green light for me.

WOOT WOOT, this is great I am moving to New Mexico in Jan 2010. I have been in Alaska for 6 years and had my FJR for two years looks like SW-FOG will be my first Rally. Especially with my new job where time off is at a premium. Super excited now I just need to enlist the mother in law to come...
