    Thousand mile day.

I know,right...After a while it is easier to keep moving comfortably in my own little world than, say, even stopping for fuel. Having to deal with the reality of a fuel station can be a traumatic experience. LOL!

    Thousand mile day.

Sheesh! 1000 miles in 24 hours! I'm sure thats not possible. LOL! Long rides tend to be very cathardic for me, and a rally is the ultimate escape from reality. Being so focused on the task at hand I find myself living in a surreal mix of fact and fantasy. Good for the soul.

Seams Chicago traffic has caught up to the last two riders heading south. They can only sit there and watch their ETA get ever closer to the penalty window. Been there, done that. Very frustrating.

On a bit of a side note: If Mr. Griffis does manage to hold off the onslaught of riders waiting to pounce, He well may be the first rider to triumph in this Rally/Grand Tour event riding other than a Honda. Yep! This may be the FIRST FJR to win this prestigious title........Hey Griff, No...

    Going to the Dark Side

Barb, I agree with you 100% Cost Has never been a factor. I should mention this vehicular conveyance is a rally bike. It is only ridden to, from, and in rallies. I do have other conveyances for non rally related pleasures. A CT in the IBR's made sense for me. While riders were scrambling...

    BMR 2018 is cranking up!

Well he certainly has had ample opportunity to do so over the years. But alas I am still among the living and a big fan of the "MoBob". Just don't tell him, it will go right to his head. I just hope he survives this "We love Bob Fest" fanfare and frivolities the BMR has for him this year. I...
