    What's this pigtail for under the seat, Gen3

    Show us the connector, not just the boot but I believe that is the obdii connector.  That plug connects to the mama-yamaha computer.  AND, that is where you can connect a dongle that makes the connector a standard obdii connector so you can hook up standard handheld code readers.

    Anybody have a set of stock headers laying around they could weigh?   I wanna know if I can have 2 burritos for lunch! With that said, I'm thinking they actually may help with reducing the top-heaviness of the bike by having all that weight as low as it can go.  Removing them may hurt handling!

    What did you do to your FJR today?

    Dropped the triple clamps to 8mm below the top of the fork tube cap.  Prior to that, the bike was hesitant to lean into the turn.  The leaning motion is now more fluid and more predictable, albeit much faster than stock.  I still can't believe the Yamaha "engineers"  put a 14lb battery way up...

    ATGATT - NO MATTER WHAT

    I binned it on my e-bike going at a slower pace.  Hit the ground hard with my un-helmeted head and missed a boulder in the sand by about 1".   Becoming a useless, drooling invalid was never on my bucket list so I bought a Bell full face MTB helmet.  Now I can save my one good tooth too!

    If you can get there in person, I think you might be able to get a deal done, but not before > $1000 in add-ons.  Being asked to wire a large sum of money with no sales order/sales contract was a big red flag for me.  As always, YMMV.
