I was watching to see where the first rider to make it there stopped. He was here: Although it looks the Meat Cove Fish and Chips is closed. And the new food truck is the Lawless Lobster:

Looks like the Tim Hortons in Yellowknife was the destination.

Anyone know where the discussion on the IBR has gone to? Number of replies to the tracking threads have gone down every year. There's barely any replies to the one thread on ADVRider. And no one really posts to the LDRider list anymore. Are people losing interest in the IBR or has the...

I'd agree with this. I don't think there's a delay. I've had the privilege of having a few personal spot pages in past IBR's, and I've always found them to match up pretty closely with the group page.

He's not immune - he had a transmission failure on an RT in the 05 rally that cost him the win. And he buys new bikes every few years so it's not like he's riding a older sorted bike. He's on a 2018 R1200RT this year that I believe he bought at the beginning of last year. So he rode the Mason...

I believe it was Sampson sport touring products but they are no longer in business. I believe Gregg has told me he bought the last one they made.

The objective of a rally is to gather the most points plain and simple. There are no points for finishing first, no points for riding the most miles, and no points for grabbing the most bonuses. Often times the reason why you see riders on twisty windy roads is because that's where the...

Correct, the Silverwing is being ridden by Dylan Spink from NH, who rode the 1977 GL1000 Goldwing as a rookie in 2017. He is a fabricator as a part time side job, and a damn good one. I'd hardly call any of his older bikes hopeless as his bikes are usually the best prepped ones at the start of...
