I have the G2 and get that surging at elevation as well - the tube is not the solution you are looking for if the issue is related to the surge (loss of power then grab when at elevation). The tube does not help that issue at all. I plan on getting the PCV this Spring.

It is an amazing thing to get new tires! I have PR3s I am going to try once the PR2s I have on it now wear out. I am actually a little excited to try them out! Maybe by the end of the my next ride they will be toast!

Aftermarket shocks tend to supply their own bolts for this location - you don't use the factory bolt.

+1 on the OES - I love em and there is no noticeable difference right to left once on the bike. Put 'em on and ride.

+1 on the shorai. Great battery, nice and light, extremely powerful, and no real need for trickle charging. Expensive but may be in the feej long after I'm into my gen III! :lol:
