Old Fjr rider coming back into fold, questions

Great info, thank you. I forgot so many of those, although I remember the iggy switch well. Yamaha dealer tech put my handlebars on at different angles when they did the recall. Was a serious 'wtf' moment.

Old Fjr rider coming back into fold, questions

I’ve owned two FJRs, an 07 A that I put 56k on, and an 07 AE that I put less than 10k on. 7 years later….I have a mostly paralyzed left hand (forefinger and thumb work), so I’m buying a 2008 AE with a little over 40k on it Friday. No records on the machine. Can someone point me to a...

Don't have use of 3 fingers on left hand so need another AE. Had them in the past and sold, now I really *need* one, only bikes I can ride other than honduh DCT. Don't need a show queen, I ride 'em daily like they were meant to be. PM me pls- Eric

Am I Spoiled by the FJR?

I'm really hoping my heirs sell the Feej when they liquidate my pitiful estate. All my toys are paid for and I don't see anything about new ones that makes me want to get into debt. Days the Feej feels to heavy I hop on my little 250 sport bike wanna be and carve up the back roads. When...

Drop my bike and nothing broke!

Canyon cages are the lifesaver (or paintsaver), and also have kept my bike from going further over. I live in the sticks and we have no driveway, just dirt/gravel and it's usually mud. Me and the Feej have an embarrassingly frequent slow tip over when I get into a good muddy patch of the...

    2006 vs 2008 FJR1300

I'm a little late to this party, but I put about 26k miles on a bought new 07, foolishly sold and went through 8 different bikes/trikes in 7 years before buying a very low miles 08 AE. Since I went from A to AE I can't say much about throttle, although my 07 stayed stock and felt fine (I did...

06-15 Corbin front saddle, Gen II Risers, Handlebars

Weird that I can't edit my post, anyway, just a reminder, this is a TALL custom Corbin. If you have a 30" inseam like me you will be tippy toes and not happy. Needs a home with a long legged cowboy/girl.

    2013 FJR Reluctantly for Sale

I totalled a C14 into a deer 3 years ago. High speed and odd scenario during the attempted escape resulted in bike hitting me on one of the flips (it did more than one end over). Insco paid out and I convinced my wife to buy me another that same week. Friend rode it home and put it up in...

06-15 Corbin front saddle, Gen II Risers, Handlebars

These are take offs from a Gen II that I just bought last week. Seat is marked Y-FJR13-6-F, but I *think* it was a special order as it is tall. Pics include model and trim number, I'm a 30" inseam and could not flatfoot the bike with this. Stock seat in low position I can easily flatfoot...
