It did have good ergos, at least for me. The throttle, clutch & drive shaft definitely needs to be reworked. Different exhaust, a PC & sticky tires would also be nice. At least on the one that I rode. But I'm used to my ZX-14. Anything less is easy to find faults. The paint was very nice...

There were 13K miles on this particular bike. One thing I forgot to add: The drive shaft backlash (or whatever it's called). Really jerky. Not like the Feejer at all. Could be just maintenance, though. And yes, it was heavy. It seems like Honda likes things heavy i.e. ST1300.

IMHO, I can never see this bike as any kind of tourer. The gas tank is too small. I was stopping for gas quite often. It also uses Hi-test gas. Not a problem in Texas (about $3.20 a gallon) but in the PacNW it would be ($4.10+ a gallon). We cruised around the rural Dallas/Ft. Worth area at...

It's a commuter sport bike with fairly good ergos... period. It's a fun ride for riders under 5'10" tall. I really liked the V4 sound when I got on the throttle. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet (stock exhaust). The stupid Dunlop Road Smart tires limited just how much throttle I could give it...

I think it's also because the Japanese Big 4 don't market bikes in the West. Snowmobiles, quads & side by sides are everywhere. It appeared that most folks had 2-4 of each.

I have a late 80's Cyclemate (no longer made but are continued to be supported). It's a complete fold-out camper. The teardrop trailers are only for storage. I saw lots of those behind Gold Wings. I also saw a number of trailers from Harbor Freight. There are quite a few modern fold-out campers...

Just returned from an 18 day, 5000 mile trip hauling my camper trailer. Steady 50-55mph. Kept it at 3200 rpm. All's good. Up & over the major passes in the West. Motor just purrrsss....

Okay, everything's back to the way it should be. Sometime I need to shorten the brake line about a a foot or so, but for now, it works! Also mounted a storage tube on the right sidebag (extra gas is mounted on the left bag). Also mounted the SPOT unit in a RAM mount on the left handlebar...

In all fairness, I don't ride the Feejer that often. It only has 38K on it (24K when I bought in '06) ...... now, my ZX-14 is another matter.
