I figured that was the case but couldn't understand why they would specify those years.

I was looking at the Yamaha Performance Touring tank bag and it says it fits 2009-2014. I would love to get one for my 2008. Is there a difference between the 2008 and 2009 tank?

I hate to hear that about the Helds. I thought they made a really good product.

I've been wanting to make that ride but have yet to do it. I'll have to check it out sometime this summer.

I used the little drop down on the Purolater and it said it does not fit my 2008 AE.
