SOLD - 2007 FJR Seats with Spencer Mod

Lowered the price a bit. Spencer Mod seats for a 2007 FJR, both rider and pillion. Seats are in very good condition, not many miles on them, I've only got about 25K miles on the bike and I have another set on it now. Let me know if you'd like some pics, I can send them on request. How about...

Oil Change Problem - Old Filter

I got around to changing my oil and had the new right oil and filter (or so I thought). I drained the oil and removed the filter, and when I tried to install the filter, I had the wrong one. (Verified I picked up the wrong one). I don't know why I had it my head that I needed to get the bike...

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

I can try that, won't be hard to cut one out. My problem is not being able to move the fork guard, protector, whatever it's called, which is already removed in the video you linked. How did you move it other than cutting it off like Bluesman? It'll spin and move, but I can't get it to move up...

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

I ran my homemade sealmate around the fork 3 or 4 times but I still have an oil residue on the fork above the seal after a ride, so the sealmate try didn't appear to fix it. I've decided I'll go with a fork seal repair, with a spring upgrade, and was recommended to go with a .90 (170 lbs...

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

After riding my bike to work yesterday (23F on the way to work), I could still feel an oily residue at the top of the fork after I got home. It's still losing oil, but maybe not as much. Possibly due to a lower level of oil in the fork now? I believe I'm going to get the fork seals replaced. My...

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

I have some time today to look over the front end of the bike. Looks like it is the fork on the clutch side, as there is no fluid anywhere above the fork that I can see. I reviewed a few posts about the sealmate and made one out of 35mm film negative. My problem is getting the plastic fork...

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

Thanks for the input, I'll check into the seal mate stuff. I had already picked up a battery, wasn't planning on any other down time though. I called a bike shop, not tied to any breed, cost was just under $300 plus parts to replace the fork seals. Not happy with that. Thanks.

    Leaking fluid, fork or clutch....

About 3 weeks ago my bike wouldn't start after work, battery would crank but wouldn't start. I was able to get the bike jumped and got her home and parked. After sitting on the side stand for about a week, I noticed something of a puddle on the garage floor, on the side the bike leans. I have...

    16K Maintenance

I'm not much for working on either my cars or my bike but thought I'd give it a shot with the bike instead of running it to the shop. It's not that I can't figger things out, I just don't care to be much of a wrench turner. For those that are similar to me, the process was fairly painless...

Warm and Safe Heated gear and the new wireless controllers

Thanks for the tip Tom, I'll check it out and see if that is the case. The wireless controller seems to work fine, red knob for the liner, yellow for the gloves and the amount of heat follows along with knob adjustment. I thought maybe it was tied to everything being 'new'. Just went out to...

Warm and Safe Heated gear and the new wireless controllers

To re-awaken this thread... I haven't been able to ride much over the past couple months due to the wife having health issues and me staying home so I haven't had gotten much use out of the WnS gear but I have used it a couple times and again this morning on the way to work. I've noticed a hot...

    Warm Hands.... FINALLY!

Well hell, that's good enough for me. Totally agree, I wasn't trying to be contentious. I guess I'll find out how much cold the gloves will hold off.
