is anybody else going to the mid-ohio race this weekend? i've never been to an AMA national, just local supermoto. it should be fun. anybody got suggestions on where to watch the race from? my dad and i have pit passes as well. well, look forward to seeing some guys there.

Just walked into my favorite dealership, Freewheeling Cycle, in Tonawanda, NY. They just got in a 2007 Black Cherry FJR A. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer. They have great staff, in sales, parts AND service. Just thought I'd pass it on.

I just traded in my 03 for an 05 ABS with half the miles. Yeah! :yahoo: Anyway, can anyone that went from a non-ABS to ABS clue me in on the braking characteristics? Never had an ABS bike before, and never a linked brake bike either. Can't wait until the weather clears up.

I've looked in a search here, and on the net, and I can't seem to find tinted windshields. I know I saw one on an avatar or something, just can't remember who. Anyone have one? Know where to get one? I went with a carbon fiber theme on my bike, and I think a smoked shield would look cool...

hey all. i'm looking to pick up a set of handlebar risers for my '03. don't really car what brand, just want to try them to see if that helps with my shoulder. i'd like to spend 60 or 65. i can get them off ebay, but i figured i'd see if anybody here wanted to get rid of their extra farkles...

does anybody have any experience with the muzzy aluminum fans for the fjr? do they just bolt on? any improvement in engine temp? i know this will probably make the heat on me more intense, but i don't care. thanks.

I was down drooling at my dealership today, and the rep for cobra was there. apparently they are coming out with a fi2000 programmer for the fjr's. it's only going to be 250 bucks, about 100 cheaper than the dynojet. it's just a plug and play, no maps to download. it's a closed loop...

Has/does anybody used one of Scott's stainless oil filters? I got one free from Vancosport( great guy to work with), and I am just wondering how they worked. Any difference in engine noise? I know they flow more oil than a stock filter, didn't know if it might make a difference in the amount...
