has anyone installed a vizi-tec brake light modulator (or other modulator) on a 2016?

cant find answer in bin o facts, owners manual, or search.There is what appears to be a battery tender type plug hanging on the right side of my 2016 bodywork (behind the adjustable flaps) .... Is it a "battery tender plug" - which connects directly to the + and - terminals of the battery...

and then i pull the new touring windscreen out of the box, and it is for a 2006 (parts guy at the dealer ordered the wrong one - when i was picking up and odering parts for my new 2016 ES) .... Ah well. ... Back to the dealer
