Can anybody hear those little snap sounds... they sound just a snapping a rubber band. For some reason, those snapping sounds seem like electrical arcing maybe?

I'm sorry for the choice of words I used. When I said wines, I meant she trying to start, sounds like the starting motor is engaged, but during this also hear like rubber band snap sounds (sounds electrical).. but doesn't start.

The sounds stops when she starts. It sounds electrical to me. Kinda like she's arching or grounding. No smoke or smell of any kind. I'm gonna check the relay tomorrow., might just order one for shits n giggles., will keep you posted. Oh! and Yeah the recall on the switch was done years ago...

When I hit the starter button, I hear some little pop n snaps. it sounds like a small rubber band snapping or like sparking sounds, so far she starts, but could it be the solenoid going bad? Never heard this before, now it seems more and more.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

I bought this 2007 Brand new in 2007. Changed the windshield, added a aftermarket back box, added the Euro Stripes and forward pegs for long rides. Rode from Las Vegas to Miami in 2008. The best therapy in the world.
