Some people are very anti modifications. We all have friends who keep their bikes completely stock and look at you weirdly if you say, "Have you ever considered a suspension upgrade, new seat, windshield,...?" Guess he won't be buying my bike. Two others are coming to look at it this weekend...

After my wife melted her heels on both mufflers I ordered the MCL lowering brackets and shields. Also ordered the rider lowering brackets. She is very happy now. Knee bend is much lessened and no more worries about melted boots. I like the rider pegs for comfort but hoping the reduced cornering...

These bargain new prices have to kill resale, no? I paid $10,400 for a 3 month old left over 2012 last August. If I held out I would gladly spent 2k +/- for a red bike. :)

What weight was the stock set up for?

I am pretty comfortable stock (6'4" 32" inseam, 300lbs.) Looking at bar risers. Worried about lowered footpegs dragging. Passenger is 5'9" and average build. She is a little cramped back there. Will try lowering the pegs for her and find a way to slide the box back a little.

Hope the dealer is open on a Monday. I've gotten stuck a couple times waiting for a Tues in a motel. Imagine if car dealers closed Mondays
