    Garauld's hydration system pump?

I have one of Graulds hydration system. I seem to remember someone on here created pump that could be used to pump water from the cooler to rid the hose of the warm water and to wet down your shirt etc it was a small pump with a momentary switch on it. I can't find that post now. Does anyone...

Heated Gear - Made the leap

Like many I have had heated gear for 15 yrs. Started with Widder, then went to Gerbing. When I switched I bought the dual controller, and found it to be a PIA. I only run gloves and liner and thought it would be handy to be able to separate the warming of each... I found pretty quickly "not so...

    Learning Base Camp

Youtube is your best friend. Like you I couldn't figure out Basecamp. That was until I watched a few Youtube videos on it. SEEING it rather than reading it made the difference. I'm not saying I'm an expert, but making routes, joining separate routes, splitting routes, editing routes, adding way...

Got Gas, Turn key on and BAM ! Nothing

I ride year round. I put a REAL BATTERY TENDER on the day I bought the Yuasa. Each day when the ride was done I'd plug it in. This was a failure in the battery not lack of maintenance. I didn't even check on a warranty. When you are on the side of the road DEAD things like that aren't that...

Got Gas, Turn key on and BAM ! Nothing

    What's in your tool kit?

I have a 2005 I bought last year from a guy that only had 14k miles on. It didn't come with the Yamaha tool kit and to be completely honest I just never thought about needing one. It's a Yamaha, these wonders of Japanese engineering just don't fail.. Yeah well that bot me in the ass today. On...

Anyone have progressive lens riding glasses/googles?

Good grief. It never fails that more than 1/2 of any response on any board are completely useless. Congrats to the last few stupid responses including the ADMIN for making no meaningful contribution to the actual question.

Anyone have progressive lens riding glasses/googles?

With the warmer weather upon us, I broke out the open face helmet today for a 300 mile jaunt. It quickly became apparent that I needed more wind protection then my progressive lens sunglasses could provide. I broke out by ancient "cheap" googles that have scratched up lenses and no prescription...

Admore plug in harness , where is tap?

Thanks gents..... I did remove to the tail cowling as suggested. Actually don't know if it could have been done without doing that. Unclipped, clipped in the harness and re-clipped the tail lights and done. 1 hr max. Humorous side note. After putting the harness together I checks the operation...

Admore plug in harness , where is tap?

I don't know if it's an extension, it's the harness you can get for the Gen 1,2 that plugs into that connector and then into the top case thus avoiding the positaps. Everyone said this harness is the cats pajamas.

Not sure what to do.... but I fear the FJR is out the door

You might be crazier then I am If I can't get this solved there is no way I could ride 7-10 days if the pain was this intense.... It just seems that with SO MANY Iron Butt riders choosing this bike to ride a 1000 miles in 24 hrs, I am missing something they know. Unless all IB riders are 5'8"...

Not sure what to do.... but I fear the FJR is out the door

In and of itself that is a good idea except I actually sold the Vrod to buy the FJR having ridden the Vrod on similar and even longer trips without the same issues.. I will try a few of these suggestions, but I am pretty sure it's a FJR riding position problem for me... I like the idea of trying...

Not sure what to do.... but I fear the FJR is out the door

Sadly if I can't figure this out, I'll have no choice but to sell and move on to something else. I've always like day long rides of 200-300 miles. I can't do more than 100 without this horrible pain.

Not sure what to do.... but I fear the FJR is out the door

OK guys. I am asking the guys who have solved so many problems for me and my Gen 1 over the last year. I have been fighting off a serious LEFT shoulder neck pain after riding for over 2 hrs. It is ALWAYS the left shoulder shooting up the neck. In an effort to solve this here is what I have...

    Bluetoot operation with your thumb

With the addition of my SENA SM10 bluetooth helmet headset I have been on a quest to find an easy way to change volume and MP3 controls for my Android phone because the phone locks, it's in a cradle, you have to take your eyes off the road and the general movement of riding a motorcycle makes...
