I would recommend Powerlet connected to the battery or via a relay controlled by the ignition.

Take a look at products from Powerlet: Tankbag or Saddlebag Kit Tankbag or Saddlebag Kit - Complete I´ve got a kit that I´ll use to get 12V in my Givi-topcase.

I used the wire to the glove-box outlet to tie it into a relay. Google for "wiring diagram for FJR 1300". (It´s against the forum rules to give it to you)

Just mounted R-Gaza Engine Guards, the left on was perfekt but the right one was 5 mm short on one of the attachment points, a file and 5 min later it did fit. Then one of the crash bobbins was not threaded, but that wasa minor issue. Finally I´ve got my engine guards an highway pegs mounted!
