    I Bought Another One!

Went to the dealership today and did all the paperwork. It's rainy and nasty in Western PA so I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow.

    I Bought Another One!

I bought a new 2015 and some health problems showed up and I regrettably sold my FJR and bought a Can AM Spyder. I see why riders like them but it just wasn't for me. Fast forward and my health problems no longer keep me from riding what I want to. Just out a deposit on a new 2023 FJR. As Frank...

    2015 FJR 1300 With 795 Miles

I am selling my 2015 FJR due to health reasons. I think the title says it all.  The only mod is a passenger backrest. it has been garage kept since new.  I am going to list it on Ebay later today. Just wanted to give the members here a shot at it first.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with...

    How to Raise Forks Slightly

Thanks for all the input. I understand about the seat and my shoes, but I really would just like to know about raising my forks. If you have raised yours and they haven't hit your handlebars, I would like to know. Thanks, Tim C

    How to Raise Forks Slightly

I have done a search here and gotten some great info. I am just slightly too short to be flat footed on my new bike. I really don't want to add new links to the shock, as that seems to create all kinds of side and centerstand concerns. It appears to me that the top of the forks are right up...

    Gen 3 Fairing Removal

I need to remove the top left fairing on my new bike. I have done a search on here and can only get so far. Are there screws behind the glove box? If so, how do I get to them. I have the new fairing and it looks like there are 3 hidden screws. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The craziest compilation of motorcycle morons I've seen so far.

Wow, is all I can say. I wanted to turn it off after I saw the young kid on the Kawasaki with a tee shirt and shorts. Hope he made it back to the family double-wide OK.

Just Picked Up My New FJR

Don't know where you are FJR, but Honda East Toledo still has a 15a listed on their website. Their price only had $95 doc fee and I believe a &16 tag fee.

Do I Really Need Motorcycle Boots?

Thanks for all the input. I will keep looking for a pair that provides good protection and some balance of looks.

Do I Really Need Motorcycle Boots?

I know I must(and want to) wear protective gear on my feet. My problem is that lots of the boots I see for sale seem to be dolled up leather work boots. The main difference I see are chrome buckles and black shoe polish. Other than the Darth Vader style(don't really care for them), what good...

Would You Perform 600 Mile Service Yourself?

All good info, thanks. I put the question out there to kinda see if anyone who has performed their own service has had a problem with Y.E.S. I will most likely perform the service myself.

Would You Perform 600 Mile Service Yourself?

I'm not there yet, but just curious if you would have the service performed at a dealer or just do it yourself? I just called a local dealer and asked what they do for the service. For $175 plus parts they change the engine and diff fluid, top off all fluids, tire pressure and tighten nuts and...

Just Picked Up My New FJR

Was able to fight the weather and rack up 60 miles on it this weekend. Packed it in the trailer yesterday and arrived safely home about 1/2 hour ago. Too tired to unload the bike tonight, it will have to wait until tomorrow. Weekend weather looks good right now!

Just Picked Up My New FJR

Thanks. I actually went back to the dealer again today. While I was there yesterday they gave me 20% off any parts or accessories I bought. So I picked up 2 oil filters and 9 quarts of oil. Also bought a really cool retro CanAm helmet. When I sent a picture to my vintage dirt bike buddy,he...

Just Picked Up My New FJR

Thanks for the replies. Just came back from a 30 mile ride around Mablehead Ohio. Good thing this bike has heated grips, needed them today. I just don't know how this bike could be smoother. My last real street bike was a Harley Fat Boy and needless to say the two machines are not in the...
