Interesting thought! My 04 was repaired in march 09. They didn't replace the tensioner at that time. But they did two weeks later!! :rolleyes: I was a pain in their arse. They didn't even whine though! Now is like butta...

If this unit cuts off when the brake is depressed, then the cruise wouldn't work when the brake was stuck. BTDT I don't see where a problem was reported with the cruise. Does the light come on before you move the bike or only while underway? Still never a bad time to lube that rear pedal though.

I agree. had my ticker fix done about a month ago. No chain noise before. Got it back and put about 500 on it. Now I hear the chain @ 3500 exactly. Not at idle, not at 4000 only 3500 under consistent throttle. Tech listened and said it was a LAZY TENSIONER. They are replacing now. Chain was in...

+1 on the bleeding....overheating. Happened one year through deals gap w/ SO on board. Scared the pudiin outta me, never let her know how close we came to being a stain.

Mine started @ the usual 9 to 10,000 mark (if there is a usual), repaired @ 25,000. Sounds like you're gonna be O.K.!! (maybe) :rolleyes:

S boy, can't let bustanut get to ya, read some of the posts on this site and realize they are in good fun. Relax.... As for the clutch.....I've gotta 04 with the same symptoms, with 25,000 on it. Guess I should do the soak, seeing how I've had the gasket for 6 months now! Some of these clutches...

No warranty, but I did get the docs personal guarantee that if I didn't take the meds, I'd be back in for a redo. On the bike, I have 6 days of Y.E.S. remaining. :unsure:
