Have you ever moved saddlebag locks to replacement bags?

I replaced the security Torx screws with plain screws. Job was easy as long as you have the security Torx to remove the 2 screws per bag.

    Why does a bike turn

Fred, I am going to CS this post into a new direction using a thought of yours. I agree that we may not need to invoke the difference in tire radii when discussing turning at speed in twisties. However, I am quite sure that a difference in contact patch radii, from inside to outside (of a...

    Why does a bike turn

I was just out on the road after a month off due to a minor medical problem. I wanted to test my recollection of how to increase or decrease a turn radius once I have established lean via CS. Well, my recollection as described in Post #62 of this topic, was WRONG. Once I CSed to establish...

    Why does a bike turn

Early in this discussion an article by David Hough is referenced. The article is titled COMING UNGLUED. Now I happen to think Hough sits right up there beside God when it comes to the mechanics of MC riding. However, he says something in that article that bothers me. Here is a quote from...

Have you ever moved saddlebag locks to replacement bags?

I took care of both bags on a ride last weekend: minor slow speed incident with no injuries. I will be replacing both bags and wonder if anyone has moved the locks? Any tricks or tips? Also, the bags, which cost ~ $450 each, appear to NOT include all the accessories: locks, reflectors...

    Air Pressure Sensor Location

OK Folks, Thanks for your help. I appreciate you spending your time to help me with my problem. The mystery is solved. My 2004 FJR had 2 air pressure sensors. One was the Intake Air Pressure Sensor. The second was the Atmospheric Pressure Sensor. This one was located under the seat in the...

    Air Pressure Sensor Location

Folks, I forgot to mention that my FJR is a 2007 with ABS. The manual that I have is for an earlier year and does not depict the location of the Atmospheric Pressure Sensor properly. I cannot locate it. I looked under the tool tray (difficult to remove)and then behind the ECU (after removing...

    Air Pressure Sensor Location

I have the manual, I have spent quite a while searching this forum, but I still can not find the air pressure sensor that is under the seat. I have checked out my Intake air pressure sensor and it is OK. I have been getting codes 13 and 14 and yellow engine light when starting cold in the...
