Doug and Brian put on an awesome event, and anyone that got a chance to participate in it was a winner in my books.

I hear 'ya. I figure I spent right about $400 in fuel for the ride alone. The FJR seems to get atrocious fuel economy in that area of Nevada for some reason....

I saw cops twice. Once approaching a gas station near Alamo with K band blasting away...the other time when an off-duty cop (a certain member here) rescued me from an 11 mile hike and let me ride bitch on their FJR back to civilization. Otherwise, this area of Nevada seems to be curiously light on LEO presence....or people presence....particularly after midnight.

Cows however....are numerous.

I saw a Sheriff in Ureka, a cop in Ely, & a Hwy Patrol at I-10 & 93(i-15&93). Zero while touring the awesome backroads of Nevada ! I did see my PR3 disapear almost to wear bars on my 1K ride. What a fantastic Day !
