Highlights
#1 Blue Ridge Parkway in NC
Georgeous views. Went all the way from Virginia to the Smokey Mountain National Park.
#2 Road over Klingman's dome in the Park.
#3 Washington DC - it gets a bad rap because of all the liars there but it is a great town to visit.
#4 Having to stop and let a black bear cross the road in front of me on foot hills parkway on the way to the dragon.
#5 Eureka Springs Ark was a gorgeous little town in a beautiful setting.
#6 Restaurant at Mount Pisgah NC on BRP. Gorgeous views.
Notes:
If I ever leave Houston, I will consider Asheville NC.
Dragon was crowded with Bikes and I didn't know the road. Got behind two two-up Harleys that were poking along.
Over rated experience for my money,
Most miles between fill up = 270.
Blue Ridge Parkway ranged 68 to 78 degrees
