Admore Light Kit and Givi e52 wiring question - Black wire?

I purchased a gently used Givi e52 top case with an Admore Light kit installed.

To connect the kit to my 2010 FJR I purchased Admore power harness TCPH3-FJR2 that is supposed to eliminate the need to splice into the bike factory wiring.

My question is this - what needs to done with the black wire that comes of one the connectors and does on connect to anything? My thinking is that it may be ground, but I don't have any instructions.

Does anyone have any experience with an Admore light kit?
