Really MEM? You know he doesn't know what incorrigible means, and he doesn't know how to look it up!

Nice lookin' ride guys. Wish I could've joined. You're right Don, I do worship the ground (and water) you walk on, just more for your drinking prowess than your riding... ;D

Steve, I'm so very damn glad to be an Irishman!

Thanks for the ride report. I may have to get one of those F650GS. Another ex-FJR rider I ride with sometimes has one and thinks they are a great all purpose bike with plenty of power. He keeps getting me into some ridiculous off road areas, trails, water crossings, roads that turn into goat paths. OK so far, but a Beemer with a reliable chain drive could be in my future, as second bike of course.
Any pics of the Wing splashing through the water crossing?
John d: My Off Road and Mexico Riding Amigo Bob "Back Road" Little and Papa Chuy were discussing our F650GS Twins yesterday, if we were forced to only own just one motorcycle it would be our F650GS Twins! Like Papa Chuy, Bob has multiple motorcycles in his garage; GL1800, FJR1300 and the F650GS Twin, but like myself the choice would be the 800cc Beemer every time for a do it all machine. Bob and I just rode 3,300 miles to Cabo San Lucas on crappy pavement, rode 50 miles of moderate dirt yesterday and have ridden these F650GS Twins back to Johnson City, Tennessee for the International BMW MOA Rally!

FlyGuy405 - Mark is very active in the Phoenix GWRRA Chapter, he was scouting out Rally Locations sites for an upcoming Gold Wing 24 hour and 1,000 mile ride his club is hosting; so, he turned back at Tortilla Flats, Arizona.

The only dirt I'm seeing is off to the side of the pavement that you were riding on. What a bunch of posers

I am left to wonder if you got more than 5 miles away from a Starbucks.
Here you go Bill, BeemerDonS and Back Road Bob outside of the Starbucks!

I can honestly say, I've never seen anybody ride dirt the way you do!

Looks like fun!
See there yamafitter, why can't you be polite and friendly like our Goober Russ is! Damned Canadians, you can't live with them and you can't live with them!

Thanks for the pics and RR Don, love the desert during winter.

You certainly make a case for having a dirt capable skoot in the stable...especially when la 'Senorita MEM is along!

I'm tired of being a polite Canadian plus Toronto lost last night to Ottawa so now I'm cranky.

I'm thinking of taking a trip to Vancouver and starting a riot.

Don, is that all route 88 out to Roosevelt? I need to get the ST dirty again (I've got the K60s mounted up now)...

Yes it is Brian, mark your Calendar for Sunday, April 28 because we are going to ride Forest Route 300 - The Mogollon Rim Road Trail!

It was a great day for me. I truly enjoyed the company, the ride and the experience. Thanks to Don and Bob for escorting this rookie across the Apache Trail. I look forward to improving my skills and joining future adventures.

"Quien Sabe" Jim, Bob and I also enjoyed riding with you too! Mark your calendar for Sunday 4/28, we're riding Forest Route 300 - Mogollon Rim Trail.

An FJR can easily make this ride. I've done it several times. As long as its dry. Wouldn't want to do it in the mud on an FJR.

Done! As long as work doesn't send me off somewhere, I'll be there!
