Not his bike, but a victim of a Wyoming garage fire. There was insurance, but Carl is wondering what may be salvageable from the crispy critter.

Can't be a BMW. The fire would have started at the final drive and toasted the rear tire!

I don't think there is anything worth salvaging. What didn't get destroyed directly is likely ruined from the heat.

Check the valve stem caps. If they are metal, then they may be useable if the o'rings are replaced.

I wonder how the subframe faired... I bet he had a stiffy kit on it, making at least that part of the bike bulletproof.
