It's getting cold and dark here in the UK and I've been going through videos and pictures from last year.

So here's my video of the La Porte to Quincy road. With apologies to Old Michael.

Don't know how long it will be before the audio is disabled so does anyone know of a good source copyright free music?

Or failing that turn the volume down and play your own tunes instead

Well now, this brings back some good memories of last summer, meeting up for a beer in Enterprise, and the IBA Meet in Boise. Sorry to hear things have turned cold and dark on your side of the pond, but we're not far behind.

Here's a good soundtrack that may be appropriate: CLICK ME B)

Wow! What a treat! Thank you.I think it was between 7:15 and 7:50 of the second part! Not sure.

Really cool "riding" that with you orestes.

That camera seems to straighten out the curves, do you think?

How'd you like the road?
Hopefully it did not bring back too many bad memories.

It was a perfect day, fresh tyres, in the 90s and very little traffic, followed by lunch at the Morning thunder cafe, and yes the camera does lengthen the shot. And even though I knew of your misfortune it still managed to catch me out a couple of times. Next time I'll be better prepared but I think there will be a tour of Scotland before then.

Hi Dennis

It's all quite fresh in my memory and I still bore my friends to death about it.

I sent you a copy of the photos and video, did you receive it ok?

How are the Seahawks doing? and all is well in Vancouver

Very nice video, Orestes! I still go back and watch the videos you shot of us up in the Pyrenees. You have a way with film!!

It may be gone from track by now; but Old Michael, was Eric Clapton performing Layla in your mind's audio when you were wadded? If so, that's totally understandable, Pattie Boyd gets into my head too; she even got under George Harrison's skin!

It will be coming with me to Death Valley, and this time the battery will be charged so I hope everyone will be on their best behaviour :D

Yep, was just thinking I need to pop it in again for another look.

Let's talk about something else, our injury woes seem to have followed us into the new year. We're now 2-4 :( At least I didn't have to watch the latest pounding a couple of days ago because I was doing THIS

https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?s...t=0&start=0 Shameless Bump for FJR SW Forum Death Valley Daze 2010!

Orestes will be flying over from England to join us for Death Valley Daze 2010 headquartered at Longstreet Inn and Casino in the Amargosa Valley, just inside Nevada from the National Park. He will have his video camera mounted on my 2003 FJR Miss Lucy Liu, while my lady friend Rena and I will be aboard our BMW R1150RT. If you ever wanted to have your FJR riding captured on video by a "professional" cinematographer, this would be your opportunity to see yourself on film with magnificent Death Valley scenery in the foreground and background. Big-D, Cometman and many others are attending!

thanks for posting, that was fun.

A slight tweak to the left mirror and we'd have a picture in picture of the scenery out the back. It was there some but would have been interesting to do that, especially if there were riders behind you.

Of course it might render your left mirror unusable for its intended purpose...

thanks again.

Lee
