Hi,

Anything special about removing the solenoid connectors on top of the forks ?

Still waiting for the service manual to arrive, microfiche looks like it's a straight plug.

Service manual just says to disconnect it, nothing special I guess.

Nothing special required. Carefully pull the solenoid above each fork and you should be good. Had to disconnect the solenoids to check the steering head nut earlier this year and it was very easy.

Thanks,

Wanted to check just in case.

Unfortunately the head bearings are buggered.

They were loose from factory and torqued properly a few weeks after delivery.

Now they are knackered, 7K kms and not a warranty item in Australia.

Did have a 2014A manual that I ordered when I ordered the bike, then 3 days latter Yamaha Australia introduced the AEE that I eventually bought.

Flogged off the A to a mate and ordered the ES manual a few weeks ago.
