I see some posting on this subject and it ends up political. I hope this doesn't end up that way. I grew up growing corn and still do raise corn. I also grew up on a Yamaha dirt bike and now run an FJR. I helped start Dakota Ethanol and was directly involved with the people that started the other 2 organizations below. Just remember that before cheap oil Henry Ford and others ran their cars on ethanol not gas.

Also remember that most all of todays gas is blended with ethanol when MTB was banned because of ground water contamination around the country. All gas in Minnesota is blended with ethanol as a mandate.I personally do not like mandates, hopefully people will end up supporting the product based on facts not fears.

This industry is just getting rolling again and it creates a lot of jobs not only in the midwest but all over the country.

I will try to add comments as needed, I'm no expert either, just been informed on the other side of the subject. How much worse can this be compared to running an FJR on the dark side. I realise that we never get everyone to agree on everything. I run everything I own on E10 without any issues,I own a trucking company so I know ISSUES.

This thread too is laced with political crap....and unapproved commercial activity to boot.

Ethanol has been discussed many times before....there's already many threads on it....and it's been confined to SPECIFICALLY about the FJR. MTB, "the other side", "creates lots of jobs", and other stuff isn't.

Stop it! :angry2: Thread closed.
