It appears that Racer Cafe in St. Charles is closed. I have been using them for most of my bike services since 2006.

Can anyone recommend a reputable shop around Chicago? Specifically tire changes.

I used to bring a tire with the first bead already on to DuPage Honda, and talk to the manager. I would do this on RoadSmart 2s that were a b!tch.

Sometimes he would mount and balance it for $20 CASH. ;-)

But to say any Chitown area dealer was reputable....ummm...I never found one, sorry to say. I always walked out with a "They screwed me" feeling.

I now live in SC and use my NoMar.

Rich's Yamaha on archer Ave in Lockport. Just off 355.

Great honest dealer. Always treated me right.

Talk to John. Knows what he is doing and runs a good shop.

Try ESM in Aurora for tire changes. He is a former endurance racer and is on Motorcycle Superstore's list of tire installers. I used him 3 years ago and was very happy with his work. I now use a guy closer to me in Mendota.
