Since I didn't really have a lot to do to day, I figure I burn some fuel in the FJR today. Yesterday it was all rainy and such and boy it turned to be a really nice day today!

started off be heading to Harris grade road to get the juices flowing, happy times there.

then proceeded to head north to orcutt then to hwy 1 to black road for some fast "cruising" through large farm Fields.

got back on the 1 and headed to Jalma beach for lunch, and little did I know that an classic car club was in the area too.

lucky for they had AA battery's at the store there

if any one ever near Lompoc, head down to Jalma beach for a burger and fries, and the roads getting there is tons of fun.

Loved the car pictures! The 40 Chevy PU is just like the one in my garage except it's a dark green and mine is light green. Oh, yeah... he's about 1,000 hours ahead of me in restoration time, too... :guiltysmiley: I wish you would have gotten some interior pictures of it.

P.S. - The Model T is really a Model A. The gas cap below the windshield is the easiest way to spot it. Neither car had a fuel pump. The Model T would starve for gas when going uphill - unless you BACKED up it. The Model A elevated the gas tank to solve that problem.

all the old guys driving the cool cars where part of The Lompoc Antique car club,

and they are holdind a car/motorcycle show in oct 21 linky
