Here's the deal. Meeting 10:15 am at the Carls Jr in Yuba City off Hwy 20 at Tharp rd. with KSU around 10:30 it's in front of the Lowes and Sams Club.

Gayle and I will be on the Hippo as we ride the scenic route through the Sutter Buttes and along the Sacramento River to Colusa, then over to Maxwell, Stonyford and up to Elk Creek for lunch around noonish. After lunch we head north through downtown Chrome, Ca and past the Black Butte Reservoir back to Orland where you can jump on I-5 if need be. We will stay in the farm land back south to Yuba City.

The purpose of this ride is to do some bird watching along the way, should be plenty of geese, ducks, chickens or whatever spending is the winter in Ca. If you haven't ridden out of Maxwell to Elk Creek your missing a real treat as this route includes a part of Ca that is untouched by development in the last 50 years. With our bird theme in mind keep your eyes on the look out for Road Runners, yes- I have seen 2 north of Chrome. They are this far north.

Plan on a full day of riding and general jack asserie that makes for a fun time with friends.

I heard Sam was buying and ElToro Joe is the guest speaker at lunch. (starting the Jack Asserie early).
West bound outta Butte City, go'in over the Sac, look'in 'cross the valley at Snowy Mountain, last Sunday; think'in this is the best of all possible worlds, then I see two bald eagle circling together at the corner of 162 'n 45! :thumb

If'n I come from Santa Rosa, I'll hook up w/ y'all in Yuba, butt if I'm come'in from our Magalia crib I won't.
